I have spent many enjoyable hours writing this book. I want to thank all of the people named in it for having been a part of my past and providing me with something to write about. It has been my extreme pleasure to bring all of these thoughts back to mind. Even the sad ones. I hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them. Perhaps they will have brought to mind some thing from your own childhood. I hope so.

    As I wrote these words, I remembered many other incidents, but failed to mention them here. Perhaps they will be in another book. I know some will not because I do not wish to embarrass anyone, intentionally or unintentionally.

    I have tried to avoid mentioning personal characteristics which demean anyone. If I neglected to omit yours, I apologize. I am sure I will hear about it, one way or another.
