This season Zaldy’s spring collection featured a variety of looks. Easy light flowing silhouettes in desert colors filled the runway. Zaldy’s one word for the collection was alchemy. Backstage hair by Danilo was all about triangles. Taking triangle sections of the hair and uniting them into a crown of braids. Makeup artist Mathu Anderson gave the girls a washed look to their makeup using Truco makeup by Sabastun. Celebrities Gwen Stefani and Rufus Wainwright showed up to see the collection and support their friend Zaldy. Gwen Stefani collaborated with Zaldy in designing LAMB. This year LAMB was the closing show for fashion week. It was also one of the biggest most elaborate shows of the year. Held at Roseland Ballroom, the show’s runway was huge. Filling the enter theater up as a ghostly car lot. As the show began pimped out low-rider cars bounced to the beat. Once again a variety of looks were introduced from tough street chicks to 40’s Hollywood starlets. A variety of celebrities arrived including Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Kelly Osbourne, Sarah Ferguson and many others. |
