Bruce Lindstrom, makeup artist & manager at Mac Pro has worked there for over 11 years. He has also done makeup for many celebrities, videos and photo shoots as well as assisted makeup artist Kabuki & Mathu Anderson. In his latest transformational class Bruce & Darian give Peppermint Gummybear and Frankie (Integra) Boyd two very different looks using MAC Pro products. Most notably, with all drag makeup, the eyebrows are plastered down with wax and sealer then covered with concealer. When concealing a beard, orange paint stick or full coverage is used to neutralize the blue that the beard shows. Darian creates an extreme drag look inspired by Pat McGrath or Theater Drag, which is heavily exaggerated. Bruce’s look is more of a realness look. He uses lace tool to create a prosthetic jeweled piece that he glues to the face with eyelash glue. Also 2 pairs of false eyelashes are glued together to create super lash. Full coverage foundation is used and has great resistance to perspiration. Pigments, eye kohl’s & glitter combined with the utmost of care and time created 2 fabulous looks that any queen would live for. Mac Pro does cater to professionals but is open to all.
