THE HAL DXP 38 HF
In response to your many requests, HAL is proud to offer a stand alone DSP modem for amateur use and budgets.
The new DXP38 includes all of the features of our very popular P38 modem and some new twists as well. The
tuning indicator has the crossed-X display of the RTTY-1, but this display works on all modes RTTY AMTOR,
P-mode, and CLOVER-II. In addition, the tuning display can be set to show M/S display, or a zero center
frequency tuning error display for all modes. The DXP38 also includes features that could not be included in
the P38, such as expanded frequency selection and expanded CLOVER-II modes.
Set any FSK Mark and Space tone between 500 and 3000 Hz, and choose any of the four CLOVER-II tone channels.
In addition, the DXP38 includes the 8P2A and 16P4A CLOVER-II modes. Like the P38, rear panel connections are
made via convenient phono jacks AF IN, AF OUT, FSK OUT, PTT, and SEL CAL Connect to a serial I/O port and a
9-18VDC power supply (0.6A) and you're on the air. The DXP38 comes with ALL software you need to run under
either DOS or Windows 95/98/NT4.0. Upgrades are free via our web site. The DXP38 uses the same serial I/O
command set as our commercial DSP 4100 modem and will operate with all existing 3rd party programs that
support the DSP 4100. |
