Martin Kemp and I became good friends because his first serious girfriend was my old punk friend Wendy, who would travel down to Blitz from Borehamwood every Tuesday. I always fancied Martin and I also thought Steve Norman was very sexy.  We used to laugh about it becuase they were definitely straight and we all knew nothing sexual was ever going to happen between us.  There was one drunken occasion when Steve and Martin both woke up in my bed, but it was all purely innocent.                                                                                          Steve Strange - Blitzed
