According to Oriental Daily, a passenger filed a claim against KMB/Roadshow for extra fare of HK$22.5 incurred as a result of switching buses due to his inability to withstand high volume of broadcast from Roadshow while he was traveling from home to work on an KMB bus route number 81C.

Setting up of Quiet Zone
Quiet Zone Broadcasting zone
Sometime in 2002, bus companies, upon request from the Transport Department, started setting up a quiet zone on the left side of bus compartment of the lower deck of some buses.
Installation of on-off switch
Sometime in 2002, mini-bus companies, upon request from the Transport Department, started installing on-off switches to the 4 speakers mounted overhead the passengers.
