NOTE: All photos shown, except otherwise indicated, were taken aboard public buses to demonstrate what actually took place on buses in Hong Kong.

This is an interim report of our study of bus spam, unsolicited ads on public buses in Hong Kong.

Purpose
of this study is to provide the community with enough information to carry out a meaningful debate about broadcast of spam on buses; with the result of enabling decision makers to arrive at a resolution acceptable to the community as well as in compliance with modern jurisprudence.

This web site records:

  • bus riders' reactions to the continual broadcast of bus spam on public buses in Hong Kong
  • news & developments concerning bus spam
  • samples of bus spam
  • key features of the bus spam broadcasting system
  • reasons why your children's welfare should be the major concerns
  • other matters that come along

It is hope that when the government renegotiates its licence with the bus operators, concerns raised here and in the community will be addressed fully.
